Thomas Bustos began his journey as a writer in 2010, starting with short stories and poetry. Inspired by his lifelong dream of creating children’s books, that dream became a reality when his beloved cat, Zoe, entered his life. Zoe’s presence and charm sparked Thomas’s imagination, making her the star of his children’s book series. His debut book, Zoe Takes a Walk Around Sacramento, marks the first of many adventures to come.

In addition to his writing, Thomas has dedicated much of his career to caring for children as a pediatric nurse, including working with young patients at the Pediatric Infusion Cancer Center. His experiences shaped his passion for teaching children life’s valuable lessons, from career aspirations to personal growth.

Thomas’s children’s books are designed to nurture a love for reading and learning while engaging young minds with fascinating subjects. His stories cover a wide range of topics, including:
